THE SWISHER COUNTY
OLD SETTLERS’ ASSOCIATION
 

The Swisher County Old Settlers’ Association was organized July 17,

1933. Only those persons who had been residents of Swisher County for 25

years or more were allowed to register. After a few years, people quit

registering. The date following the name indicates the time the individual

came to Swisher County. The following people signed the register:

    Thank you for your efforts to document the information included here. I am the great-great granddaughter of T.A. Gray and his wife Margaret of Tulia. My Mother’s grandmother was their daughter Mary Dona Gray Cochran, and her father, Rome Nute Cochran, was the son of Mary Dona and Charles L. Cochran from Amarillo.
