William G and Lucy Canary Conner

William Greene Conner was married to Lucy Canary Conner and were the first citizens of Tulia. William's tombstone inscription reads, "First Citizen of Tulia." He owned the land which is now Tulia. The Tulia city park was named for him. For further information, read pg. 216 in the book "Windmilling."
