Rose Hill Cemetery was named by Mrs Lula B. Tomlinson. She said “We have the hill some day we will have the roses.”<\/p>\n

Mr. W. T. Adams is thought to have donated land for the cemetery. Later a fee was paid for it by W. B. Hale, County Judge.<\/p>\n

Louis H. Harrel was the first known person buried in the Tulia Cemetery (his grave was the first marked grave). This stone says Harrell. The second grave was a four year old, Robert Alonzo Hutchinson, son of W. B. and Virginia Hutchinson.<\/p>\n
